Iran War Day 173, Economic D-Day, Treasury doesn’t understand Oil Prices & Thou Shalt not Steal

If you thought the political theater in Washington couldn’t get any more cartoonish, welcome to Day 173 of the Iran War.

Yesterday, our official national debt quietly crossed the catastrophic $40 trillion threshold. We are now blowing through cash at a mind-boggling rate of $90,000 every single second, and spending $3.8 billion a day just on interest. Think about that: we spend more on daily interest payments than we do on Medicare ($3.1B/day) or our entire war-fighting machine ($2.5B/day). And what is our brilliant Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent doing about it? He literally went on C-SPAN to admit that he “doesn’t really understand” why oil prices are spiking, right after his massive $4 billion bond buyback failed to prop up the market in less than twenty-four hours. You can’t make this stuff up.

Meanwhile, the double standards and deep-state manipulations are on full display. Our brand-new US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, actually warned “Ultra-Zionist” Israeli settlers in the West Bank that “Thou shalt not steal” is God’s law when it comes to taking property from US-Palestinian citizens (as if stealing is somehow fine as long as the victims don’t hold a US passport).

Over in the tech sector, Amazon is aggressively buying up and “destructively scanning” rare physical books to feed their AI training models, destroying actual history so they can sell you back a sanitized, digital version. From the FBI seizing Rep. Eric Swalwell’s electronics to the Trump administration handing Bill Gates’s GAVI syndicate another $600 million, the grift is absolute.
